birth like a goddess

“If a woman doesn’t look like a goddess during labour, then someone isn’t treating her right”

home birth support

Birth is a physiological process. Something we are born to do and a women’s body is designed perfectly for it.

When birth is protected, supported and undisturbed, it most often unfolds beautifully and powerfully.

Firmly rooted in my belief and trust in this, and following my own undisturbed home births I exclusively support women who are planning to birth at home.

We will work together to ensure you feel deeply prepared, informed and calm before labour begins.

You will learn the physiology of labour, how hormones work in harmony and how to create safety in your environment as well as how to respond calmly to variations along the way. This is not surface level birth education but truly embodied preparation so that on the day you can trust that your body and baby will do what they are so beautifully design to do, and we can protect and nurture that process to unfold exactly as it is meant to.

Across our pre natal sessions we will:

Discuss your vision for meeting your baby

Explore the mechanics and physiology of natural labour

Strengthen your trust in your body and its perfect design

Release fear or previous conditioning

Prepare your partner to support you with calm and confidence

Create birth plans rooted in sovereignty and informed choice

Practise techniques and explore supportive tools for labour including breath, movement, bodywork, positioning and nervous system regulation

Ensure your space is set up to support the dance between mum and baby as labour progresses and you have everything you need in reach, ready for a smooth transition to meeting your baby depending on your preferences and dreams

Spend time preparing for a positive post partum supported with healing remedies and rituals, nourishing foods and plenty of time for rest and bonding with your baby.

This work is about entering the birth portal and motherhood feeling informed, calm and powerful - understanding what is happening in your body and why, so that we can trust and surrender to it, and move gently into healing and integration with your baby.

If we understand physiological birth fully, we can no longer fear it.
